General Instructions
Redbank Surgery Center provides treatments that may be helpful in reducing acute or chronic pain conditions by use of spinal injections.
- You may eat a light meal up to 2 hours prior to your injection procedure.
- Wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing
- Bring all insurance information
- Must have a driver 18 years or older to accompany you home
- If you are on prescription blood thinners, you should have received instructions to have blood work done. If not, you should contact you pain intervention physician for instructions.
- Your referring physician should have ordered an MRI scan prior to your first visit with the pain intervention physician.
A list of all your current medications will be required at your first visit. This includes prescriptions, over-the-counter medications and supplements. Please bring a list of these with you.
